Andrew Luck

Wow! What a true shocker that Andrew Luck decided to stay in school and not enter the draft where he was almost certain to be selected as the first overall pick. I'm sure the Carolina Panthers are really upset with his choice.

I can't say enough positive things about Luck for his decision. It takes real guts to stare a multi million dollar contract in the face and say no thanks, for now. I guess for Luck he values his education and degree far more than an NFL contract. This is hard for some to fathom. Lucks dream is to get an architecture degree from the University of Stanford and to design stadiums. I truly believe this is his number one dream and goal for his career. Of course he'll more than likely enter the draft next year and if successful will spend many seasons in the NFL. I think for Luck knowing that he'll be a millionaire (barring any devastating injury) soon enough and knowing that he'll always be able to pursue his architecture career whenever he wants is very comforting for him. My guess is that Luck will one day want to be remembered for the stadiums he built and designed far more than the stats he produced on the field. To that, I say good luck to you and congratulations for having the guts to do what most couldn't.
